SEO & GEO-Ready Websites
SEO & GEO-Ready Website Development
A website should not only look good — Google and AI search engines like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity need to be able to read it. We build SEO and GEO into the architecture instead of patching them in after launch.
Overview
Noise & Signal builds fully custom websites only — no templates. We build on the Next.js App Router, rendering pages on the server or generating them statically so the content is right there in the HTML, readable by search engines and AI crawlers without running JavaScript. URL and language structure, per-page metadata, structured data, and AI crawler access are all planned during development. We use these exact practices on our own bilingual website and on client projects such as ximu's trilingual website.
Core Capabilities
Server-rendered Next.js websites
Pages are statically generated or server-rendered with the Next.js App Router, so the full content is in the first HTML response and readable by search engines and AI crawlers.
Technical SEO and multilingual setup
One shared metadata helper generates every page's title, description, canonical, and per-language hreflang (including x-default), plus a sitemap covering every locale's URLs.
JSON-LD structured data
schema.org structured data by page type — Organization, WebSite, Service, Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Person — so search engines and AI understand the company, its services, and its authors.
AI crawler access and llms.txt
robots.txt explicitly allows AI crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended, and llms.txt plus llms-full.txt give AI models a fast summary of the site.
Content formats for AI agents
Articles are also available as Markdown (add .md to the URL) and via RSS, so AI agents and feed readers can pull the full text directly.
Indexing, analytics, and load performance
Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster verification, Google Analytics 4 tracking, and IndexNow pings to notify search engines of updates; decorative homepage animation is deferred so it does not slow down LCP.

FAQ
What is the difference between SEO and GEO?+
SEO helps your website get found in search engines like Google; GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) helps AI search such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity read and cite it. Both share the same foundation — crawlable HTML and clear structured data — and GEO adds open AI crawler access, llms.txt, and Markdown versions of content.
Do you offer template websites?+
No. Noise & Signal builds fully custom websites only — every page and backend feature is designed for your requirements.
Can the website be multilingual?+
Yes. Our own website is bilingual (Traditional Chinese and English), with a separate URL, canonical, and hreflang per language; the website we built for ximu supports English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
How are cost and timeline estimated?+
Quotes are tiered by three factors: page count, whether you need a backend, and whether you need payments; development ships in two-week iterations. For reference prices and timelines per tier, see our article on website development cost in Taiwan, or try the project cost estimator.
